Second-hand cars cheapest in Spain, but not the Balearics

Palma.—Spain  and Italy are the top two European countries for finding a bargain when buying a second-hand car, according to a survey by the international association AutoScout24.
At present, the average price for a used car – bearing in mind the vast difference between a 12-year-old Ford Fiesta and a one-year-old Mercedes or BMW – is 12,600 euros, just 0.1 per cent higher than this time last year, says the report.
