Palma.—The Palma municipal spokesperson for the left wing party MES, Antoni Verger, said yesterday that the paralised convention centre and luxury hotel on Palma’s sea front is breaking the bank.
The unfinished building has been abandoned now for 20 month since workers were ordered to down tools in June 2012.
But, it is costing the local council 470,000 euros per month to maintain the building.
