Palma.—The National Police have arrested 31 members of a gang in connection with a Social Security scam and providing fraudulant work contracts.
The operation was carried out by the National Police in collaboration with the special Social Security inspection unit, and police sources said they have dismantled an important organisation which specialised in providing false work contracts, which were then used to obtain residence permits and submit fraudulent claims for social benefits.
