Palma.—Easter week and the May Bank Holiday are set to create over 2, 700 new jobs in the Balearics, according to reports shed yesterday by human resources agency Randstad.
Other tourism areas like Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia and Andalusia are set to lead the list in terms of new working contracts this month and next.
Over 50,000 new contracts are expected to be signed over the next few weeks in the Spanish capital, Barcelona and Murcia.
At the other end of the scale are Soria, Badajoz and Teruel with 300, and 800 new contracts each respectively. Overall, throughout Spain, 350,000 new jobs will be created mainly in the catering and tourism sectors.
