Alcudia—Residents and tourists in Puerto Alcudia are calling on the council to take urgent action to clear the famous lakes of algae.
Residents told the Bulletin yesterday that it was an absolute disgrace and so far their complaints had fallen on deaf ears.
The lakes are one of Alcudia´s top scenic spots and residents can´t understand why action has not been taken by the Alcudia council with the holiday season now in full swing. “It is an eyesore and such a shame. The lakes are beautiful, Ican´t understand how the authorities allow this to happen,”one outraged resident said yesterday.
