Palma.—Holiday giant Thomson and First Choice is returning to Humberside Airport, with a new service to Majorca for 2015.
The move has been confirmed after a three year period of absence, with flight operator Jetxtra having served the Spanish island in recent times.
It opens up package options for sunseekers in northern Lincolnshire keen to fly locally, with a 3.30pm Tuesday flight out established.
It is on sale now and is being billed as a resurgence into the holiday market for Humberside, owned by Eastern Airways, and now part of the Bristow Group.
Mediterranean cruises that are taken in Majorca will also be just a short drive away.
Flights touch down in Palma, and resorts such as Magalluf, Puerto Pollensa and Port Soller will be popular, so too Thomson and First Choice’s flagship properties including the First Choice Holiday Village Majorca and the Thomson Couples Protur Playa Cala Millor.
