Palma.—Just four days after a cyclist was killed and two others injured in Majorca, the body of a 60-year-old German cyclist was found yesterday morning along the Cap Blanc road in Llucmajor.
The Guardia Civil have opened a full investigation into the foreigner’s death.
The body was discovered at 10.30am by the side of the road just past the Tolleric complex.
According to sources close to the investigation, the victim had suffered a severe blow to the head but the results of the autopsy are apparently going to prove the key.
At the moment, investigators are working on the theory that the 60-year-old suffered a heart attack, died in the saddle and fell to the ground, which is when he hit his head.
Or, that he managed to dismount and then collapsed and died.
