Palma.—Tragedy struck again on Majorca’s roads yesterday when a 65-year-old Swiss cyclist died after falling off his bicycle along the road between Santa Margalida and Llubi.
The total number of cyclists who have been killed in Majorca this month now stands at five and the number of injured also rose yesterday after a cyclist was hurt while trying to over take a car in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains.
The Swiss cyclist fell off his bicycle late yesterday morning.
The Guardia Civil and Local Police from Santa Margalida were quickly on the scene while an ambulance and paramedics were not far behind.
