Hoteliers under pressure to break deadlock

With the hoteliers and the hostelry sectors in dead lock over new contracts and the threat of industrial action by the hostelry sector disrupting the summer season hanging over the negotiations, the restaurant and nightclub sectors yesterday urged hoteliers to make more of an effort to resolve the dispute.
The two sectors stressed that any form of industrial unrest in the hostelry sector will only damage the region’s image and also have a negative affect on the tourist industry.
