Palma.—The crew of the luxury yacht Rosique, which sunk in the early hours of Sunday morning, have publicly praised and thanked the staff of Puerto Portals for their “magnificent” response to the incident.
It appears that the yacht suddenly started taking on water in the early hours and the Puerto Portals emergency team, including divers, responded immediately and highly professionally, according to the crew.
Captain of the port, Alvaro Irala, has also been singled out for special praise for the way in which he coordinated the emergency operation.
