Palma.—The Superyacht Venus has become a regular visitor to the Club de Mar in Palma over the past few summers and it always attracts a lot of attention because of her avant garde design.
Venus was built for the late Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs - the American entrepreneur, marketer, and inventor, who was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc.
But sadly, Jobs never got to see the finished version of Venus, although he was involved in her design and construction.
The 100 million dollar yacht was not launched until 2012 and sadly, Jobs passed away in October of the year before.
It’s a little under 80m (260 feet) long, made of lightweight aluminium and features 3m (10 feet) high windows.
