Two Majorcan beaches among the very best

Two Majorcan beaches have been included in the top ten beaches in Spain in terms of quality and what they have to offer to tourists, a price comparison website poll showed yesterday.

Palma.—Muro beach and Cala Millor came third and seventh respectively in an online ranking conducted by trivago.es.
The ranking of the top 40 beach destinations, took into consideration the accommodation offer in the area, the quality of its beaches and what local authorities have done to go that extra mile to improve the experience of holidaymakers.
Both Muro and Cala Millor have been awarded a blue flag, proof that the quality of its waters and sand comply with the high standards environmental authorities demand.
