Palma.—Vodafone is currently in the process of investing over 25 million euros in new generation 4G Internet networks in the Balearics.
The project was unveiled yesterday by the President of Vodafone Spain, Francisco Roman and Vodafone’s Territorial Director, Jesus Suso at an Innovation Forum organised with the collaboration of Huawei and the Grup Serra, the media organisation which publishes the Majorca Daily Bulletin which was represented by its chairman, Carmen Serra.
During the presentation, Roman stressed that innovation is vital for businesses to “survive” in this modern and challenging climate.
He said that Vodafone believes that it can greatly help local businesses with their innovation by providing the necessary networks and products.
