Palma.—The true face of international police co-operation was on show in Majorca yesterday when joint police patrols involving German, French and Majorcan officers were unveiled.
Three German police officers and a single French officer have travelled to the island to join their local counterparts this summer. It is all part of a plan to bring police forces together. The French officer has already been involved helping his local counterparts because many of the eye-witnesses to the boat explosion in Porto Colom last Thursday were French. The three German officers are expected to be sent to the resorts popular with German tourists.
