Palma.—Tragedy struck in Magalluf early yesterday morning when a 22-year-old French holiday maker fell to his death at the Apartmentos Magaluf Playa block of apartments in calle Galeon to the rear of BCM and just off Punta Ballena.
The incident happened at 6.14am and, according to initial investigations, the young man had been out drinking and had left his keys to the apartments inside the holiday flat.
According to sources close to the investigation, on returning to the block of apartments, he asked a group of British holiday makers renting the apartment next door, if he could climb out of their window over to his balcony in order to get back into the flat.
