Balearic ports managed by PortsIB - which is a department of the Balearic Ministry for Tourism - as opposed to the larger ports such as Palma and Alcudia which are run by the Balearic Port Authority under the umbrellas of the State Port Authority, have so far this year handled 2,133 cruise passengers.
During the first seven months of this year, 12 cruise ships have moored in or off Ports IB, the Ministry for Tourism announced yesterday.
The most popular port is Puerto Soller which has hosted eight cruise ships as handled 1.137 cruise passengers.
