Let the electorate decide
Dear Sir,
In my opinion the Editor has got it wrong this time.  A member of parliament should vote according to his conscious and not just toe the party line.
Mr. Douglas Carswell, pictured, has done the honourable thing by not only resigning from his party, but also from his seat, giving the voters the opportunity to re-elect him, or not.  This is democracy, let the electorate decide!

Killing the Golden Goose
Dear Sir,
Earlier in the year I warned of “killing the goose that lay the golden egg” in relation to the new restrictions placed on tourists in Arenal and it appears to have come to fruition.
You can’t have it both ways.
