Palma.—Police have reported that  a dead woman found floating dead in the sea on 10 July   was a French tourist and have refused to rule out murder or suicide as possible causes of her death.
The Guardia Civil circulated security camera photos of the woman in early August and soon learned her identity although they have not yet released her name.

Number of leads
After following up on a number of leads, they have determined she was a French tourist who had travelled alone to the island by boat two weeks before her death.
