Experts at the Department for Infections and Internal Medicine at Son Espases Hospital yesterday confirmed that the patient airlifted over from Minorca and thought to have contracted Ebola during a six month stay in Africa is in fact suffering from malaria.
The 27-year-old woman was admitted suffering from symptoms similar to Ebola in the early hours in the early hours of Sunday morning.
