Palma.—Representatives from Pimem, the Federation of Small to Medium Sized Businesses yesterday met with the Central Government Delegate to the Balearics, Teresa Palmer, to discuss the growing problem of illegal street trading.
The National Police and Local Police force in Palma have been very active in trying to crack down on illegal street vendors, but eradicating the practice is proving nearly impossible.
Pimem expressed its concern over mounting illegal competition and other issues such insecurity which illegal street vendors create to Palmer.
