Inca.—The annual Dimecres Bo celebrations in Inca, which are set to take place this year on 12 November, on the eve of Dijous Bo, the island’s most popular agricultural fairs, will be strictly controlled this year.
Residents have for years complained about the noise, and have even submitted a formal complaint against the local mayor Rafel Torres, for failing to enforce restrictions on local bar owners which fail to close their terraces at midnight, in accordance with the law. This year, the authorities have decided to forbid the setting up of stalls and musical equipment in the streets to avoid any further problems.
