THE summer season will end on a high after hotel occupancy levels in most of the major holiday resorts rose. Hotels in the Playa de Palma enjoyed an occupancy level of 81 percent in September and are forecast to be 70 percent full in October. Palmanova/Magalluf (70 in September and 50 in October), Cala d´Or (92 percent in Sepember, 67 percent in October), Alcudia (95 percent in September, 60 percent in October), Can Picafort (95 percent in September, 60 percent in October), Cala Millor (90 percent in September and 65 percent in October and Palma-Cala Major (87 percent in September and 76 percent this month.
