The Balearic government announced yesterday that the region will have a budget of 4,035 million euros for 2015, 4.14 percent more than this year and the bulk of that funding has to go on health, education and social services.
The Balearic Minister for Tax and Finance, Jose Vicente Maris, said yesterday that the increase in funding will help stimulate the local economy, speed up the rate of economic growth in the region and consolidate essential pubic services.
