Palma.—Balearic citizens will finally be able to enjoy “the return” of the hefty investment made in Palma’s Congress Centre, Jaime Martinez, the Balearic Minister for Tourism and Sports said yesterday.
The councillor confirmed in Parliament, that the Congress Centre will be finished by September 2015, and up and running by 2016, putting an end to one of the longest ongoing bureaucratic processes in Majorcan history.
The construction of the centre came to a halt half way through due to financial disagreements between Acciona, the company responsible for the work and the Congress Centre board.
