267 doctors, nurses and other medical staff from Inca Hospital have taken part in a formative course on how to act in case they suspect a patient has the ebola virus.
The staff were mainly from the emergency department, the first line of defence of the hospital, but also from outside companies, mainly those in charge of cleaning duties at the hospital.
This was the first course the hospital has made available for their staff but more courses are already in the pipeline for the future.
Those who took part in this first course marked it with a 4,61 out of five, saying “it was very helpful and important for the future”.
