Palma.—The Balearic College of Naval Engineers yesterday suggested that measures would be taken in order to begin operating nautical shuttles services from the cruise port to the centre of Palma.
Previously, there has been much talk about switching the commercial quay in front of the Cathedral with the cruise terminal so that cruise passengers would dock in front of the city centre, however, the plan has yet to come to fruition.
However, the Balearic College of Naval Engineers believe that a nautical shuttle service is the answer.
They maintain by making it easier and quicker to reach the city centre and the old part of Palma, more cruise passengers will venture into the capital.
