Some 500 Balearic residents and visitors, mostly of French nationality gathered on Sunday at Plaza Cort to show their support for the “Je suis Charlie” cause, after last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris. Michel Magnier, French Consul for the Balearics gave an emotional speech thanking Majorcans for the support they have showed French residents of late before joining those present in singing the French National anthem La Marseillaise.
