The number of visitors to Palma’s Bellver castle grew by 12,5 percent last year to a total of 325, 000.
The amount of money generated by visitors also increased, with reports revealed yesterday confirming, a total of 543,000 euros were collected in entry tickets, almost eleven percent more than during the previous year.
The venue is often rented for private parties and weddings and the scene for a number of cultural events but last year the number for these kind of events actually went down. A total of 16,000 euros were made from hiring out the location.
