The weather may have put some people off celebrating Saint Sebastian on Monday night, but tens of thousands of people still packed the centre of Palma to enjoy the live music and the foguerons (BBQs), in honour of the capital’s patron saint.
Not only were the BBQs used for cooking all the traditional meats and sausages such as botifarron, longaniza and tocino, but they also helped keep people warm.
Less people turned out than last year, but apart from the poor weather, their was a great variety of music with something for everyone to dance to.
