The average hotel booking made last year for Balearic hotels was the highest in the country, a holiday booking website revealed yesterday in a report entitled “Trends and Tendencies”.
Every visitor who booked a holiday break in a local hotel in 2014 spent on average 502,40 euros.
According to the study, the Balearic Islands continue to be the tourists’ preferred destination during the Summer months.
Local tourism authorities have already confirmed they are expecting this summer to break all previous records.
