Palma.—The new access road between the Llevant motorway and Molinar is almost ready and is set to open to traffic on 19 March, Maria Salom, president of the Council of Majorca said yesterday.
Salom, who visited the site yesterday alongside the Mayor of Palma Mateo Isern and a group of neighbours from Molinar, said this was an “historic moment for the neighbourhood”.
“This is what the Council is for. To hear the demands and requests of our citizens.
“They have been asking for this for over 30 years, so 19 March will be an historic day for Palma and the neighbourhoods of Molinar, Portixol, Coll d’en Rebassa.” Salom explained that the new access route will make life easier for everyone.
