Palma.—The 67-year-old businessman who was arrested earlier this week as part of the investigation into police corruption in Palma, was yesterday ordered to be held on remand in Palma prison.
The arrest was made as the Guardia Civil and the National Police continue their investigation into Local Police extortion of local businesses along the Paseo Mallorca in Palma and the Playa de Palma.
A dozen members of the Local Police have been arrested and most have been released on bail.
