Palma.—The executive committee of the Partido Popular in Madrid yesterday announced that the current President of the Balearics, Jose Ramon Bauza, is going to the Partido Popular’s candidate for president in the Balearics at the forthcoming local elections in May.
Welcoming the news as he opened the Fira del Fang in his home town of Marratxi yesterday, Bauza proclaimed that his governments “has governed in the interest of everybody, those who voted for us and those who didn’t.
“This government has never acted in response to surveys because that would be irresponsible, what we have simply done is acted in the best interests of every municipality and we are going to continue working in the same direction,” he added.
Bauza is going to stand for reelection as President
