The Puerto Palma is set for one of the busiest weeks this year with at least 12 cruise ships scheduled to visit this week.
Four large ships arrived on Tuesday with eight more expected to arrive between yesterday and the end of the week.
The first ones to arrive were the Italian cruise ship MSC Magnifica and the Costa Diadema, the first arriving from Malaga and the latter from Barcelona.
The Island Escape, from British tour operator Island Cruises and the Aida Diva from German tour operator Aida Cruises, both carrying in their majority British and German tourists were the other two cruise ships to make port in Palma. Tourism authorities have already confirmed a total of 54 cruise ships are due to make port in Puerto Palma this year, around the same level as last year.
