Palma.—Captain Frederick Price, the former Royal Navy Defence Attache at the British Embassy in Madrid, will be giving a talk to our subscribers at the lunch we have organised at the Can Eduardo restaurant in Palma next Thursday.
The event is open to all subscribers, including those who take out a subscription (which costs just 16.70 euros a month) before the event on Thursday.
Captain Price has enjoyed a distinguished career in the Royal Navy serving across the globe.
Born in Soller, his dream was to bring a Royal Navy ship to his hometown. And he did just this. Before his retirement two years ago, two Royal Navy minesweepers visited the port of Soller on their way home after a long deployment in the Gulf. It was obviously a proud moment for Captain Price and one of his crowning points of his career.
