Some one hundred demonstrators gathered outside Palma's bullring, the Coliseo Balear, yesterday evening to voice their protest against last night's bullfights. No incidents were reported, with the demonstrators cordoned off behind barriers, but there were insults from both pro- and anti-bullfighting factions, the latter shouting that this would be the last bullfight in Palma. The city's council has declared Palma anti-bullfighting, but any decision on the prohibition of bullfighting in Palma or at other arenas in Majorca will have to be made by the regional government.
