According to the digital album provider Hofmann, beaches in the Balearics are the most photographed of all Spain's beaches: 1,527 photos out of a total of 5,285 devoted to Spain's "geography". And of these Balearic beaches, the three most popular with smartphone snappers are to be found in the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia. The beach of Puerto Pollensa is in fact the most popular, with a total of 410 photos, which represent 26.8% of the Balearic beach total. Second is the bay of Alcudia, by which is meant (it would seem) Puerto Alcudia, which has 26.1%, followed in third place by the beach of Sa Marina in Alcudia. This is the one by Barcares where the kitesurfers go, and it accounts for 299 photos (19.6%).
