According to Gopili, the travel price comparison website, Palma’s Son Sant Joan airport ranks eleventh in terms of the number of low-cost air routes to European airports. There are 91 in total, which is a touch over 10% of all low-cost routes in Spain: 837 in all. Spain is number two in Europe when it comes to low-cost routes, headed only by the UK with 935.
