The councillor for culture at Inca town hall, Antoni Rodríguez, has announced the launch of guided tours of the town's prominent architectural and religious sites as part of a drive to increase cultural tourism.

In addition to the tours, there is to be a multi-lingual leaflet and improved signage for these sites. The first of the tours will be on 16 January and they are expected to then be given every second Saturday of the month with the exception of July and August. The first of the free tours will include visits to the convents of Sant Domingo and Sant Francesc and subsequent ones will cover, for instance, the ancient talayots of Son Mas and the hermitage and the religious architecture of the Santa Maria la Major church.
