Sir Richard Branson, previous owner of the Son Bunyola estate in Banyalbufar, is to buy it back through the Virgin Hotels Group. Branson sold the property in 2002 for some 18 million euros, and it has been re-purchased for somewhat less - 15.3 million - with the intention that part of the estate becomes five-star accommodation.
