A 49-year-old Briton, identified as Robert D.M. died yesterday (Saturday) morning after falling from the terrace of the first floor of his house in Calle Mofares in Calvia village. The fall, of some two to three metres, was sufficient for him to incur severe injuries from which he died.

Investigations point to there having been an accident. His wife and daughter were asleep at the time, and indications point to his having suffered some form of attack which caused him to lose balance and fall.
