King Felipe, Queen Letizia, their daughters, Sofia and Leonor, and Sofia, the Queen Mother, attended Easter Sunday midday mass for the resurrection at Palma Cathedral today. The Royal Family has been coming to Majorca for Easter for some years, albeit that the faces have been changing. The King's father, Juan Carlos, has not attended since 2014, a few months before the abdication, while neither of his sisters - Elena and Cristina - attend: Elena came in 2014, Cristina has not been since 2011.

Traditionally local politicians don't attend the Easter mass in the cathedral. The only ones who have were the Bauza administration.
