A major operation by National Police on Thursday in Son Banya (Palma) led to the arrests of six members of two drugs gangs; they appeared in court today. The operation, dubbed "Operation Slam", started at 9.30 in the morning and involved seventy officers from various units in support of the drugs squad, which had targeted the El Raúl and Eduvigis gangs. Both have engaged in the sale of drugs around the clock, the former specialising in cocaine and the latter in heroin.
