It's going to be a great night out in Magalluf this Friday, 13 May. Might it be unlucky for some? Only for those who fall foul of demons, of whom there will be many. Nine demons' gangs in all will be rising from their hellish infernos and unleashing fire on the streets of the resort. Well, they are coming not from hell but from Andratx, Binissalem, Campanet, Costitx, Llucmajor, Mancor de la Vall, Palma, Sant Jordi and Sineu. And they'll be accompanied by batucadas and other drummers plus beasties of fire.

This is the Magalluf Spring Festival, and it starts with a procession at 10.30pm on the Avenida de Magalluf before the demons are let loose in their correfoc, fire-running frenzy at half eleven.

It will be fantastic, terrifying, extraordinarily noisy, fiery and very demonic. Highly recommended.
