EasyJet flight EZY6895 from Glasgow to Palma yesterday evening (Saturday) had to be diverted to Toulouse because of disruptive behaviour by a group of passengers.

these idiots should be fined and banned from all airlines for 5 yrs , also they should be made to pay £50 compensation to each of the other passengers for the disruption , the people on the check in desk and boarding gate need to be given the power to refuse boarding to loud drunken disruptive people , and security need to check the bars for drunken behavior and take away the boarding cards of those not fit to fly
Until the amount of alcohol a passenger can buy at the airport before boarding an aircraft is strictly controlled,this problem will always exist. The best way to do this is for drinks vouchers to be printed out with each persons boarding pass with the passengers name on them and in order to prevent non-drinkers giving somebody their voucher,a passenger should be required to present their passport when ordering a drink so that the name on the voucher matches the passenger. A maximum of three drinks per passenger is more than adequate and anybody who has clearly had more than this should be refused boarding.
