The company’s website stated:
"We deeply regret to announce that the Lowcosttravelgroup (LCTG) ceased to trade on 15 July 2016, following exhaustive attempts by the group’s directors to rescue the group, which has been hampered by the recent and ongoing turbulent financial environment.
This notice applies to the following companies and brands:
1. Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd
2. Lowcostholidays Spain SL
3. Hoteling.com part of Lowcostholidays Spain SL
4. Lowcostbeds.com AG.
Smith & Williamson LLP, jointly with CMB Partners UK Ltd, have been appointed as administrators over the UK group entities with effect from 15 July 2016.
On behalf of LCTG, the directors wish to profusely apologise for the inconvenience and distress that this will cause to our customers."
It then goes on to advise clients what to do and ends: "LCTG is no longer trading so there is no possibility of contacting the company. If you need to process a claim against LCTG (or any of its companies or brands), please contact lowcosttravelswiss@smith.williamson.co.uk with details of your claim – contact can only be made via email."
The company was set up in the UK in 2004 and claimed to carry around two million passengers a year. Three years ago it moved its chief operating centre to Majorca.

I'm not going to waste my time answering your comment apart from recommending that readers read your post made 7 days ago on this very same thread.
Judging by this comment - and others by you on this site - you're a nasty, insulting little man yourself, Simon. We can see and read your invective for ourselves clear enough. You may think that you give the impression of a well-educated individual, but that simply underlines your outstanding delusion for us all to see on here. Congratulations. You must be very proud.
You are not a very nice person, are you Wolfgang ? I sometimes wonder where your mother found you. Not only are 120 people going to lose their jobs, and income, which is probably something you know little about, but also, in theory, the people in the places you mention. Also, as it so happens, a member of my wife´s family was due to fly out next month using this company. I can tell you that she is a bright, intelligent and caring individual who has more style and class in her little toe than you obviously have in your entire body.
Great. A crap firm selling crap holidays to crap people. They will not be missed other than by 2 star hotels and KFC and Subway chains. Good riddance!
They relocated to Palma so they didn't have to be ABTA registered.
The recent and ongoing turbulent financial environment has got nothing to do with post-Brexit, has it?This low-cost company has been trying to do it's business on the cheap for many years and has always struggled to make a profit.I'd like to meet the idiotic chief executive who pushed through a move away from a cheap UK base selling holidays to local Brits, to setting up camp on Mallorca - a mere 1000 miles away from your customer.
last I saw was 4 hotels available in Magaluf July - 19 available in august !
