A 40-year-old Ecuadorean man, identified as Romulo Patricio V., has been arrested by Palma police following an incident in which he attacked a man who was urinating in front of his daughter. He has been charged with what in effect is grievous bodily harm.
The incident happened on Saturday night at around quarter past ten in the Plaça Miquel Dolç. Two Polish men, apparently under the influence of alcohol, were sitting on a bench and were supposedly yelling at and insulting people going past. One of them then started to urinate next to a bench on which the girl, aged six, was sitting. Romulo Patricio got into a fight with him, during which he attacked him with a bottle.
Local police arrived and were given conflicting accounts as to what had happened. Romulo Patricio said that he had punched the Polish man, who then fell and caused his head injury. However, his wounds were to his chest and neck as well as head. Shards of glass were found at the scene. He had to be rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

I'd have cut it off and made him eat it!
Let's see. Guy, pissed out of his brain, pulls out Larry Johnson, takes a whiz next to my six year old daughter and promptly gets curb-stomped...... "What's the problem, officer?"
Totally agree with the comment beneath. Who do these people think they are?, to act in the manner they do, whilst inebriated in another country. Why have the Local Policia not arrested the drunks ?. Typical miscarriage of justice. As soon as the hospitalised drunk is compas mentis, he should be arrested and imprisoned.
Given the limited facts above, the Polish guy is at fault. If he did the same in front of my daughter I would react in the same way as the Ecuadorian. Let the man go free, he was just protecting his daughter.
