The pilgrimage to Randa on Saturday.

The 33rd ecumenical pilgrimage was held last Saturday at the Monastery of Cura at Randa with the sun and surroundings adding to the occasion. Canon Lorenzo Alcina, as ecumenical delegate of the Bishop of Majorca, welcomed us all and also talked about Ramon Llull in his address. The second station was conducted by the German church where Pastor Heike Styohann also spoke about Ramon Llull and his life. Songs sung included a solo by a Norwegian.

The third station was with the Swedish and Norwegian church, where although the Priest Mikael Johnson was present, the service was taken by Lillemore Huhgg as she had much to tell of once being a tourist guide at the Cura and of her family weddings and baptisms conducted there.

More songs were sung and solos from the afore mentioned singer. The fourth station was from the oriental church with Miguel Ambros of the Ukranian Greek Catholic church and Jonica Jozmula of the Romanian Greek Catholic church leading the prayers. The closing service was held in the church, which holds many ancient statues and relics, by the Reverend David Waller from the Anglican Church with support from the Pollensa members. Another thought-provoking pilgrimage. Our joint picnic followed, and many thanks for the support of members of Pollensa and Palma churches.
