The Palma 365 Foundation will be present at next week's IBTM World fair in Barcelona. This is a travel fair dedicated to the international market for business travel, incentives and meetings, and Palma 365 wants to spread the word about what the city has to offer the business traveller, especially now as the Palacio de Congresos convention centre is on the verge of opening.

The Palacio, where Palma 365 is concerned, will help to position the city as a leading destination for business travel. It is expected that Palma will stage more than 300 business events over the next five years.

During the three-day fair (from 29 November to 1 December), some thirty meetings are scheduled to be held with tour operators and others. The Palacio will naturally be to the fore in the Palma 365 promotion, it being stressed that the Palacio has all the necessary facilities for conventions, conferences, exhibitions and incentive travel.

The IBTM fair (formerly known as EIBTM) has been going for almost thirty years. It was first held in Geneva in 1988. On that occasion 450 exhibitors from 52 countries took part. Now, over 15,000 people will represent more than 150 countries and 3,000 brands.
