The National Police have released a list of ten individuals that they are urgently seeking and are so asking for the public's help in locating. All ten, five of them Spanish and five from elsewhere (who are being sought by their countries' police forces), are believed to be in Spain.

The five from other countries are:
Ishak Merenvouri, 50, originally from Algeria and a Finnish national. Wanted for sexual assault on a child under the age of five in Helsinki. Thought to be residing in coastal areas of Catalonia or Valencia.

Rafal Czerwoniek, 46, from Warsaw. Sentenced in Germany for belonging to an international drug trafficking gang. He is one of the most wanted people sought by Europol. He could live in the Canaries.

Hayet Boughanmi Ep Abbas, also known as Hayet Kaubisch, 32, born in Tunisia. Wanted for murdering a German, who was stabbed 53 times. She could be in Catalonia or Andalusia and masquerading as a Moroccan citizen.

Giuglielmo Cirillo, 27, from Mugnano di Napoli. Wanted for Mafia membership (the Polverino clan) and for drug trafficking. He is believed to be in the Balearics.

Gareth Bryan Edwards, 25, from Aylesbury. Sought by the UK authorities and facing three life sentences for robbery with violence and intimidation. He is a very dangerous person, possibly armed and in possession of drugs.

The Spaniards are:
Antonio Jesús Barge Valdés, 48, from Madrid, 1.8 to 1.85 metres tall with tribal tattoos on his right arm and back. He is wanted for a raid on a Toledo jeweller's during which he shot and seriously injured three National Police officers. He is sentenced to more than 40 years in prison.

Rafael Rubén Núñez Cencerrado, 41, originally from Sagunto (Valencia), 1.9 metres tall. Linked to numerous businesses in Valencia, he was controlling one of the largest organizations for the import of cocaine in containers. He is directly connected to Colombian mafia bosses.

Vicente Lamarca Sánchez, 53, born in Úbeda (Jaén). Leader of a drugs organisation based in Majadahonda (Madrid) that had been introducing thousands of kilos of cocaine from South America. He escaped in January 2016 while out on permit to visit his mother.

Francisco de Paula Martorell de la Capilla, 61, from Barcelona. Sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2014 for having sexually assaulted his youngest daughter for years.

Esteban Vacas García, 47, originally from Salamanca. He is wanted for sexually assaulting the young daughter of his partner over a several-year period. Sentenced to 14 years in prison. He could be in Castile and Leon.

Since January last year, the police's fugitive location group has succeeded in arresting 495 people who were on the run. This highlights the importance placed on the public's help. Of the 495, forty were wanted for drug trafficking, 41 for fraud, 126 for robbery, fourteen for murder or serious wounding, 53 for sexual assault and 221 for other crimes, including money laundering.
